  • Adjusted level boundaries for sublevel streaming.

PROJECT: THE CHANT: The Gloom Below (DLC)

TERM: MAR 2023 - JUL 2023
ROLE: Junior Game Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assisted in design, construction, and implementation of game systems.

  • Designed and laid-out additional gameplay scenarios.

  • Scripted and maintained Unreal Engine blueprints.

  • Implemented checkpoint and save/load data.

  • Built and modified level geometry and collision.

  • Balanced consumable and crafting resources.

  • Optimized performance of assets using streaming systems and LODs.

  • Organized and maintained the dialogue sheet and dialogue assets triggered in game.

  • Debugged and fixed issues that relate to the levels, encounters, scripting and dialogue performances.

  • Provided constructive and critical feedback of gameplay and provided solutions.

  • Collaborated with the entire team to ensure deliverables are on time and at a high-quality level.

  • Communicated with the team and proactively raised issues and blockers, as well as opportunities to improve tools and increase team productivity.
